Beaches

Wexford has no shortage of beaches to be enjoyed by visiting families. Duncannon Beach is great for families, with a mile long sandy stretch, great views of Hook Head and a designated bathing area. The award winning Cahore beach is one of Ireland’s longest beaches, making it the ideal choice for a long walk in both rain and shine. Grange Beach is a hotspot for water sports due to its winds, but its sandy shore also makes for a great base for a family day out. A more secluded option is Booley Bay Beach, as it is usually less busy than other beaches and its small size adds a sense of security and safety for families.
