 Things to do

If there’s one thing Cyprus is in strong supply of, it’s incredible beaches. Fig Tree Bay is a very picture perfect coast-line with luscious golden sand and turquoise waters. The shallow and calm waters also mean it’s safe and convenient for children. Nissi Beach is a must see as its white sands and gentle waters are a perfect base for families. Coral Bay in Paphos is a good choice for families as its tame waters are ideal for swimming. It’s also a large coast, ensuring you have room to relax and rejuvenate under the Mediterranean sun.

 Aphrodite Waterpark

Located in Paphos, this waterpark is the region’s biggest and is jam packed thrill rides, wave pools, swimming areas, water features and so much more. Little ones will enjoy the mini volcano and pirate ships areas, while the whole family can make memories together on the family rafting ride or the lazy river. Older kids and daredevils can test themselves on the more intense rides such as free fall or the twister. Various restaurants and kiosks are scattered around the park to ensure full tummies during a day out here, while lifeguards and staff are also on hand to make sure things run smoothly.  One day tickets from €31.00 per adult and €18.00 per child aged three to 11.

 Fasouri Watermania

This is Cyprus’ biggest waterpark with over 30 different attractions for every age group. Tiny tots can get used to the water aboard the paddle boats and on the baby bungee swings. Families can race each other and play together on the 6 lane racer and aqua tuba slides. Daredevils can test their bravery on intense rides such as the black hole slides and the black cannons. Plenty of swimming areas, kiddie pools and rivers are all in high supply as well. Sun beds and umbrellas are also available so you can relax and watch the excitement pool side, and grown-ups should definitely sneak off to the fish spa and massage parlour too.  One day entrance from €28.00 for adults and €17.00 for children.

Cyprus’ clear blue waters and unbeatable climate make perfect conditions for some water sports fun. There are so many vendors in Cyrpus providing aquatic fun for families brave enough to try it. Latchi Watersports Centre offers water skiing, sailing, wind surfing, wake boarding, inflatable rides and so much more. Central Water Sports in Larnaca also offer similar activities as well as scuba diving, mini cruises and banana rides. Kayaking, pedal boating and snorkelling are all offered by Mike’s Water Sports. Be sure to pre-check age and height restrictions for any activities you’re interested in doing to avoid disappointment.
