Weather With temperatures never dropping much lower than 25 degrees in the winter months, Bali is always a good location for a steady climate. 

Travel There are one-stop and two-stop flight routes which go from Dublin Airport to Denpasar in Bali. Flight duration varies depending on lay-overs but can take 18-25 hours. Every region in Bali has its own appeal but these are our recommendations for family holidays to the island. 

South Bali Including Canggu as well as Kuta and its famous beach, this area is most popular among tourists and is replete with sun-holiday essentials, activities and accommodations. Denpasar is also located in Southern Bali.

What is there to do in Bali? 

Water wonders  

As Bali is a sun-holiday location, there is a wide selection of water parks and resorts available such as Splash Waterpark in Canggu, and Circus Waterpark in Kuta. One of the most well-known parks in Bali is Waterbom Park in Kuta, and this tropical styled escape has a boat load of activities so you and your kids will have plenty to do. Alternatively, you could look into various water sports available to try out nearby Bali’s coastline’s and rivers. Surfing, rafting, diving, canoeing, wind-sailing, jet-skiing and paragliding are just the beginning of the many adrenaline-pumping activities provided by various companies such as Nusadua Water Sports. Be sure to check directly with activity providers regarding age requirements and equipment hire for these activities. 

 

Tours and travels  

There is an endless list of companies in Bali which provide boat tours around various locations.
