A family getaway is the perfect way to relax and take a break from the stress of everyday life. But for large families trying to find a place to accommodate everyone can cause more stress than anything. Around Ireland there are plenty of brilliant hotels which are working hard to provide for the needs of parents with a lot of kids in toe. With larger rooms, two bedroom suites or bunk beds there are lots of ways to fit the whole family in for your week or weekend away. Here are 15 Irish hotels that will accommodate the whole Brady Bunch for your next family getaway. 

Lahinch Coast Hotel (Clare) 

This coastal hotels caters perfectly to the bigger family’s needs. They offer the option of family suites to their guests or either one or two bedrooms. The one bedroom suites consists of one ensuite bedroom with one large double bed, one single bed and a sofa bed, which will comfortably sleep five guests. The two bedroom suite consists of two ensuite bedrooms which both include a large double bed and a single and will sleep six guests at ease. Both suites have an adjoining kitchenette and living room area for added space. These contains every appliance that your family could want from a flat screen TV to a microwave or kettle.

The Osprey Hotel in Naas also caters to families with their family sized guest rooms. The family rooms consist of one large king size bed, one single bed and a pull-out sofa bed. That’s enough to fit five or even six if a little one squeezes in between the parents in the massive king bed. However, if that’s still not enough, the hotel will organise to have cots or roll away beds put in your room to fit the whole clan.

Set in Westport this hotel is ideal for families with two options available to its guests. For those booking for two adults and two children the ensuite family room has a king size bed and a double pull out sofa to accommodate four. But if this isn’t enough the family suite options provides families with a larger room with the same king-sized bed and double sofa bed as well as an additional single bed in the same room.

The Diamond Coast Hotel (Sligo) 

This hotel recently won Trip Advisor Traveller’s Choice Award in the family category and their refurbished family rooms can now accommodate families of up to eight people, The Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone is heaven for every family both big and small. The largest of the family suites consists of two double beds and a separate children zone where there is a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on top. The kid’s area also hosts its own TV so the grownups and bigger kids won’t have to listen to the little ones or their cartoons. This room fits seven with ease but other rooms that host either six, five or four are also available.

Amber Springs Hotel (Wexford) 

The Amber Springs Hotel has one of the best options of family rooms In Ireland with four types to choose from. The first option is a family room which has one double bed and two singles, sleeping four with room for a cot or camp bed to be added. The second option is the family den suite which is located in the exclusive family wing of the hotel. It consist of a standard large suite as well as a private internal kids den which holds two sets of bunk beds. The third option is the Amber Family Suite which offers the same double bed and two single beds as the family room however it is located in the family wing and offers more luxury than a standard family room. The final option, the executive family room again offers the double and two single beds but has more space in the room and also boasts an open plan lounge/sofa area. The Roe Park Resort has amble space for families to enjoy. Their family rooms come in two forms. The first form is a spacious junior family room which has two standard doubles to fit four. The second option is amongst the largest family rooms of any hotel in Northern Ireland. This Family Suite features a super king size bed, two single beds and a pull-out double sofa bed to fit two adults and up to four children. The Connacht Hotel has some lovely options for families. The first is a classic family room which consists of a double bed and a single bed. A cot or rollaway bed can also be added for a second child on request. The hotel also offers a bunk bed family room that kids will love. This room consists of a double bed for the adults and can sleep three children in the bunk bed which has a lower double and upper single bed. The largest of rooms available is the family suite, these are ideal for families that require self-catering for hungry little ones. In these rooms there is an en-suite bedroom with a king size bed an adjoining bedroom with a double and single bed as well as a kitchenette for everything you will need. This hotel in Balbriggin has many options to suit all sizes of families.
