Ueno Zoo
Established in 1882, Ueno Zoo is Japan’s oldest zoo and is home to over 3000 animals of 400 different species. Elephants, tigers, lions, bears and monkeys are just some of the incredible animals who call Ueno Zoo home, and kids can get up close and personal with all of these amazing species here. This zoo’s natural surrounding echo the wild which the animals come from to ensure these species feel at home here. The zoo is quite large and is divided into 63 main sections, with a monorail available to bring guests from the East Garden to the West Garden for a small charge of 150 yen (€1.21), or 80 yen (€0.64) for children. Tokyo Disneyland

Universal Studios Japan
The Universal Studios in Japan are jammed to the brim with rides and attractions inspired by some of your kids’ favourite movies and characters. Find magic and wonder in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where you can try spellbinding rides, learn some wand magic and visit places from the films such as Zonko’s Joke Shop.
